On the day you died I cut my hair.
So as to symbolize that nothing's there.
And all I'm left with, three months to the day,
is a constant reminder that everything fades away.
[SPOKEN]: I said I'm sorry, Sam. You know I am. I know how it feels to be alone in this world. I'm sorry Sam.
But I don't wanna go.
And now I walk and I hang my head,
wishing I was the one who had died instead.
In the times surrounding all of this,
you know I'd take my own life if I'd get back his.
I can't go back, please take me back.

Everything I thought I knew, I didn't.
Everyone I thought would come around in the end, they did.
And even though this surprising turn of events
made my life happy for a couple of months,
still in the end I'm left wishing things would be different.
Somehow different.
And I know now that I'm not happy unless I'm sad inside, dying and wishing you well.
"For some reason I'm not content unless something's a little off" she said, 3am on the stairwell.
Our lives, for some reason they intertwine like graphing lines on a practical plane.

I WANT TO BE SELF CENTERED AND ONLY CARE ABOUT MY BREATHING. AND THE CASH IN MY WALLET. THEN I'D BE FINE. BUT I'LL NEVER FIND IT FINE.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
I found a new way to love your body. It's hidden in the idiosyncrasies of your anatomy. Why won't you hurt me the way I deserve to be hurt by everyone? I want to be hurt by everyone.

I WANT TO GET FUCKED UP. I I WANT TO GET FUCKED UP LIKE THE WAY YOU FELT. I WANT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE, I WANT TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE WAY YOU FELT.
BECAUSE SLEEP OR DONT SLEEP IT WILL NOT CHANGE A THING ABOUT THE PERSON IN MY MIRROR AND WHO I REALLY SEE.
I WANT TO GET FUCKED UP LIKE I'M 15 AGAIN. I WANT TO GET FUCKED UP IN THE DOORWAY TO YOUR HOUSE AGAIN. I WANT TO TAKE IN THE LIGHT OF YOUR ROOM, THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE, THE WAY YOU TASTE IN RELATION TO MY MOUTH.
BECAUSE SLEEP OR DONT SLEEP I CANNOT CHANGE A THING ABOUT THE WAY IT WORKED OUT AND WHO WE USED TO BE.
I'M GOING BACK TO BED. I LEARNED TO LET ALONE WITH MY SHADOW.
